Scarletta Press was founded in February 2005 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Initial board members and investors: Ian Graham Leask, the author of The Wounded and Other Stories About Sons and Fathers, literary consultant and producer of KFAI’s popular “WriteOn! Radio” program; James Beardsley, retired CEO of Masterlock, Inc., and Nancy Tuminelly, cofounder and Vice President of Mighty Media, Inc.
